This privacy policy describes how I collect and process your personal data, how I share the data I collect, and what your rights are regarding processing. “Personal data” means any data that allows the identification of a natural person. “Processing” means any action performed on that personal data.

What personal data do I collect?

I collect and process basic data such as name, billing address, phone number and e-mail address. I also collect data relating to your interaction with me such as correspondence and session notes. How do I collect the data?

The personal data I process is obtained from my clients directly, through e-mails, messages and phone calls, via websites and social media channels, and through other communication and documentation the client provides to me or that I collect during coaching sessions. In addition, I collect information that the clients submit when they book a sample session from my website (see Scheduling below).

The legal ground and reasons for processing personal data

The legal ground for collecting and processing personal data is the client relationship of my clients with Eva Hartela Coaching (VAT number 3291307-4).

I process personal data to provide services to my clients. I also process personal data to manage and administer my client relationships, including scheduling and billing, and to send my clients marketing material, such as newsletters or e-mails.

Disclosures of Personal Data

I do not disclose your personal data to any third parties unless I am required to do so by law or there is an agreement allowing me to do so. I have also entered into agreements with certain service providers (my billing partner Omapaja Oy ) who may process your personal data on my behalf as part of their service. Transfers of Personal Data

I do not regularly transfer personal data to third parties or outside the EEA or the EU, however some of my service providers may be situated outside the EEA or the EU.

Data Protection

My business relies on confidentiality. All data is securely stored and I restrict access to it to myself only. Session notes are not recorded with any personal data on them.

Storage Period

I keep your personal data only for as long as is necessary for conducting the coach-client relationship or as required by the law.

Your Rights

The applicable data protection legislation provides you with the rights to access, rectify and erase the data I have collected on you, and to opt out of future marketing any time I send you marketing material. Any requests relating to your rights must be made in writing and sent by e-mail. Please allow me one month to process aforementioned requests. Please also note that I may have to check your identity when processing requests.
